TOMMY + TANNIN TUESDAY

A massive hunk of beef. All the fixins. A bottle of red for five bucks.

Every Tuesday, choose a tomahawk from our menu and tell us how you like it cooked. We’ll handle the rest.

Our tomahawks are aged for exceptional tenderness and concentrated beefy flavour, then simply seasoned, grilled and served family style with duck fat potatoes, mushrooms, broccolini, roasted garlic and an assortment of house-made sauces.

Tomahawks are priced by weight at $6.50 per ounce. They’re made for sharing, but whether you do is entirely up to you
.

Order a Tommy and enjoy a select bottle of red for just $5.

Bring your appetite. Bring a few friends. Then eat and drink with reckless abandon.

RESERVE YOUR TOMMY

Available every Tuesday. One $5 bottle of select red per tomahawk. Wine selections vary. Tomahawks are subject to availability.

WHY SO MODEST?

Isadore Boucherie arrived in West Kelowna in 1888 and became known for raising exceptional livestock, preparing gourmet charcuterie and cooking a mean steak. He was equally famous for his charm, impeccable manners and rather enthusiastic appreciation of wine.

As legend has it, Isadore once declared himself “the greatest wine drinker in the valley.” Father Pandosy responded with the words that would follow him into local history:

“Well, aren’t you the Modest Butcher.”

The name stuck. So did the love of great beef, great wine and a little reckless abandon.
